For over a decade, I’ve been lucky enough to work professionally in art, illustration, and graphics. Along the way, I’ve honed my expertise through hands-on experience and formal education, including an M.A. where I mastered the fundamentals of art. I also spent a lot of time studying life drawing and the human form, diving deep into anatomy and how to bring it to life on paper (or screen!).
Over the years, I’ve developed a knack for storytelling through art—using mood, lighting, composition, semiotics, and color theory to create narratives that resonate. Whether it’s organic shapes or hard surface concepts, I have a strong eye for form, structure, color, and light. My background in videography, photography, and lens specifications has given me an extra edge when it comes to nailing the perfect composition.
Since 2015, I’ve been working remotely (even pre-pandemic), so I’ve mastered the art of staying self-motivated, organized, and efficient. Working with people across different time zones and meeting tight deadlines has also made my communication skills rock solid.
Outside of work, I’m all about the great outdoors—long walks with my dog, soaking up nature, and finding inspiration in the world around me. I’m an enthusiastic, ideas-driven person who’s always buzzing with energy and ready for the next creative adventure!
